Teton Valley Kitchen Incubator Program
In the Teton Valley Kitchen, each qualified culinary entrepreneur is a stand-alone business. This means that each tenant must have its own insurance, business records, tax returns, and so on. Additionally, all tenants (with a few exceptions for stable baked products) within the facility will be required by Eastern Idaho Public Health to obtain a food business license (but don't worry! We're here to guide you every step of the way!). Following an orientation, Teton Valley Kitchen will work with the tenant and EIPH to prepare the necessary application and schedule the inspection during the tenant's first rental period. Though we have many individualistic goals for each of our prospective tenants, the primary criteria for applicant approval is the production of salable culinary products.
Because this is a shared space, Teton Valley Kitchen requires that members work together. Our community spirit is fostered by candidates who:
Only completed applications will be considered. They must be either sent as an electronic copy via email to info@tetonvalleykitchen.com -OR- completed in the online version below. After turning in the application, qualified applicants will be invited to a training session with the facility manager covering the facility policies, rules and procedures. The tenant will also need to demonstrate knowledge of food safety practices and provide a copy of their food handler's card. If you don't have a food handler's card, we can help with that too!
Keep in mind, we are here to help you! We are happy to answer any questions you have, at any point in the application process, just ask! Send an email to info@tetonvalleykitchen.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We are excited to promote you and your culinary business!
